DogWatch Dealers from across the country and around the world met in Palm Springs on February 10-12, 2017 for the 23rd Annual DogWatch Dealer Meeting. Over 150 Dealers, employees and family members attended the meeting at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, CA, and enjoyed stunning views, sunny weather and inspiring talks to kick-start another great year!
The annual conference features workshops, panels, exhibitors and training sessions, and it provides a wonderful opportunity for Dealers to brush up on the latest technology and learn about new and upcoming DogWatch products and initiatives. The meeting also gives Dealers the chance to catch up with each other and share ways that they are managing their business in order to bring the best pet containment solutions to their communities.

How did your dog get his or her name? Did you name them after someone – say, a character from your favorite book or movie? Perhaps you picked something funny, or more traditional, or even something wild and crazy? Whatever you choose, the act of naming your pup is a big decision – and often a fun one, too!
As we approach the end of 2016, we decided to take a look back to see which dog names were the most popular among our many new DogWatch customers nationwide. Check out our list below, and see if you dog’s name made the list!

May your holidays be filled with peace, good health and happy dogs (and cats)!
This holiday season, DogWatch Inc. is giving a special gift of sponsoring a service-dog-in-training with America’s VetDogs. This sponsorship helps to cover a portion of the costs associated with final training for one dog on their way to becoming a working guide/service dog.
The America’s VetDogs assistance dog programs were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities. All of these services are provided at no cost to the individual.

Our name may be DogWatch, but thousands of cats worldwide also use our hidden fences to explore the outdoors safely. Giving their cat the freedom to roam outdoors is important for many cat owners, but it brings with it many challenges, including keeping cats away from roads and other hazards and preventing their natural prey drive from impacting local wildlife populations. Outdoor cats are particularly common in the United Kingdom (UK), where animal behaviorists recently announced the findings of a new study on the impact of hidden fences on cat behavior and welfare.
