Doug Knight (known to most of his clients as “Dogwatch Doug”) has been training dogs and cats to stay safely in their yard with the Dogwatch Hidden Fencing System since it’s inception in 1991. Prior to that, as a trainer, he helped develop many of the unique training methods that are used today throughout the industry.
Doug’s love and compassion for animals motivates him daily to develop techniques that get world class results with dogs of all temperaments and personalities. Those unique techniques and instructions, will not only be creating a world of security and joy for your pet, but as importantly, will be alleviating worry and stress for YOU! He is proud to say that he has been achieving exactly that for 19 years having trained several thousand dogs (and cats) in the greater Nashville area.
Doug will be the first contact you make with us. He will come to your home to meet with you and your pet and learn what specific solutions you desire. Then he will “tailor” a System to solve your unique needs. By the way, you may notice Doug usually will not arrive alone. His work companion is a beautiful Golden Retriever named “Wilma”. She is always by his side (waiting in the van of course) and never seems to complain about needing a day off!
